Environmental Policy

Fly a Kite Environmental Policy

We comply with legislation and as a small agency we are very much motivated by our personal values.

We work remotely without a central office base but recognise the work we undertake – especially traveling between clients – results in emissions and waste generation.

We strive to reduce the environmental impacts of our business, in the following ways:

  • Reducing waste, limiting single use materials and choosing recycled materials wherever we can – for example using paper from sustainable sources.
  • We use trains for the majority of journeys to reduce the impact of our travel and opt for virtual meetings where the quality of discussion and outcome will not be compromised.
  • Minimising our digital footprint through greenhosting our website and use of a system house font.
  • We choose our suppliers carefully, monitoring their practices and those of supply-chains.

We also know that climate change disproportionately impacts marginalised communities – due to overlapping systems of oppression – so see intersectionality between climate/environmental practice and EDI.
